How do I schedule an appointment?

Fill out a Tattoo Inquiry and I will contact you via e-mail or text to set up a day and time that works best for us both.

Do I need a consultation?

A consultation is not necessary to book an appointment, however, we can set up a consultation if you are planning to fill in an area with existing tattoos, planning to cover an existing tattoo, or you simply would like more clarification for your design. Consultations are free.

I booked an appointment, how soon should I be able to see a drawing?

Designs are drawn the week of your appointment, unless it is a flash design.

How can I contact you?

Via e-mail or text. If your appointment is accepted, I will provide you with direct contact information.

Do you tattoo fingers? Hands? Inner lips?

Inner lips, no. Fingers and hands, yes. Fingers, however, do no last or heal well with fine line. They may fade or completely disappear more so than any other part of the body, everyone’s experience may differ. No refunds will be made, as I do let clients know ahead of time of the risk. I do offer a free touch up after the initial healing period, if needed.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

You can begin to prepare for your appointment up to two weeks prior to your appointment. Read through this page, Preparing For Your Appointment, for further clarification.

How do I care for my tattoo?

Can I bring a guest? Can I bring my child?

No. Extra guests are not allowed, please contact me directly if you require a caregiver, or have any other specific circumstance. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the studio under any circumstance.

Can I use numbing cream? Do you provide any?

Numbing cream is not advised, as it may change the skin’s ability to take in ink. I have a gel that we can use after lining, however, it will only numb punctured skin.

Are tattoos painful?

Pain is expected, but everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Certain locations on the body are known to be more sensitive than others for various reasons. The best thing you can do, if you are concerned about pain, is to properly prepare for you appointment, communicate with your artist and ask for breaks when needed.

How long will my tattoo take to fully heal?

4-6 weeks to be fully healed is the average. Heal times may vary per person depending on the location of the tattoo, complexity and amount of shading done. Continue with your aftercare until the skin is smooth and no longer flaky.

Can I get tattooed if I’m underage and have parental consent?

No, I do not tattoo minors. 18+ ONLY.

Can I get tattooed if I’m on medication?

Yes, as long as your listed medication does not affect the tattoo process. Please let your tattoo artist know any and all medications that may thin blood as well as any medical conditions that could affect your health if you have an open wound.

Can I get tattooed if I’m nursing or pregnant?

It is suggested that you finish nursing before getting tattooed. After birth, your body can become immunocompromised making you more susceptible to infection.

When can I go swimming after my tattoo?

Once your tattoo has completely gone through the shedding/peeling stage and the skin is smooth to the touch. This is typically around the 6 week mark. It is advised to continue to avoid direct sun exposure.

When can I go tanning after my tattoo?

3 months after your tattoo has fully healed, however, tanning is not advised. It will affect the longevity of your tattoo.

Will I need a touch-up?

If your tattoo is not in a wear spot and you have taken good care of your tattoo, it is expected that you will not need a touch up. Free touch-ups are offered as a courtesy within 6 months of completion. Finger tattoos get 1 free touch-up as clients are informed beforehand of the risk.
